AND HERE'S WHO'S TRYING TO STOP IT.
Robert F. Smith... says he is “against” giving black people reparations individually, instead he (quote: "what I think would be better") thinks that giving those monies to black-owned “businesses” so black communities can grow the infrastructures needed to have long term sustainability in those communities would be better. It’s all BS!
Three problems with that. + Plus the truth.
- It puts that money into the hands of those who have already had a chance to try their hand at business… and “none” to those who haven’t been given a chance to try being in business.
- It leaves an opportunity for those who are less than honorable the chance to redirect (steal) that money from those whom it is supposed to be allocated to “Black People” and re-direct it towards other groups… just like they did with “AFFIRMATIVE ACTION” monies. The $120 Million that “Reed Hastings” has just donated to black colleges is a “PLOY” to try to give himself credibility among blacks… all of this as he (and his buddies) go after that $14 Trillion Dollar reparations package that is being proposed for the Black people in this country.

- To deny 98% of the “Black Population” of this United States, the opportunity to have a taste of TRUE FREEDOM and Financial Security, just to fleece the pockets of the already well to do, would be a TRAVESTY… and the 2nd biggest mistake that has been made in this country… with the 1st being Slavery itself.
The “reparations” proposal is drawn up to give $350,000 Thousand Dollars (three hundred and fifty thousand dollars) to every “Black adult” in the UNITED STATES (equaling a total cost of $14 Trillion Dollars to the United States government).
Robert F. Smith is simply a “front man” for Reed Hastings., Hastings is the man donating the $120 million to the black colleges... Smith donated $40 million to Morehouse College a while back.
This is a ploy… they both are simply after that $14 Trillion Dollars. It would be the biggest purse (booty) yet… sized by the wealthy in the United States. It’s just a game to them. Problem is… millions of black people's lives are on the line here. A purse like this, distributed among each Black Adult in the United States… would change COMPLETELY… how backs in this country not only live, but how they view… The United States of America... completely!
WHEN YOU HAVE A LITTLE BIT OF MONEY... IT CHANGES THE WAY YOU "THINK!"
FREE THE PEOPLE !!!

Step BACK Mr. Smith... give some with brighter minds than yours... a chance to play too.
LISTEN... I'm gonna give it to you straight... most current black small business owners are either crooks, have poor customer service skill, or are just not that good at what they are doing... that's why nobody shops with or buys from them. And I'm not speaking to you as a layman... I was in business myself for 5 years, my first year in business I did $100,000 dollars worth of business... and I tried desperately to work with other business owners who were black... but the competence and straightforwardness were just not there.
However, there are a lot of really bright minds in our black communities who are never gonna get their chance to shine... do you know why???
Let me tell you why... but first, let me tell you a little something that Muhammad Ali once said, and I quote: "There are some fighters out there who are so good you're never gonna get the chance to see'em." Then someone asked Mr. Ali why? And Muhammad Ali replide: "Because other managers are not gonna let their fighters fight'em."
I'm gonna leave that right there... because, this you know is the truth.
LET MY PEOPLE GO, Mr. Smith... you have serious help just waiting for you out here in our black communities that are just being squashed "down"... and you know this to be the truth! Let them up!

CLOSING REMARKS:
If you take care of all black people (which is what this is supposed to be), I guarantee you that you will find many unsung heroes out here in our black communities who will come in here with fresh, new, brilliant ideas... many that will change the way "we all live"... black and white. The law of averages rules that to be so.
But if you do it the way Mr. Smith is suggesting, I again guarantee you that you will see nothing but the same ol’ crap continue to go on that’s been going on for the last 50 years... "misappropriation and mismanagement of funds." You know why..?
